In The Community
Since its founding, Nixon, Vogelman, Slawsky & Simoneau, P.A. has taken the lead of its founding partner, David Nixon, and given back to the communities it serves. Our partners and staff believe that in order to adequately understand the nuances of our great State, dedication to public service is essential. For this reason, we are leaders in many community organizations, giving of our time and treasure.
Our community service efforts typically revolve around helping veterans, ensuring victims of domestic violence receive the legal assistance they need, and fundraising for charities close to our heart. We also are fortunate to be called upon for a great deal of pro bono work; in fact, our attorneys have been recognized by the New Hampshire Bar Association for their attention to this.
As of this writing, our practice is heavily invested in “Legal Boots on the Ground,” an important arm of the Veterans Foundation of New Hampshire. Legal Boots on the Ground is embedded in our office to help New Hampshire’s veterans with their legal challenges, benefitting from easy access to our attorneys and associated resources. We also dedicate a great deal of time to the Domestic Violence Emergency Project (DOVE), providing free representation to victims of domestic violence and assisting them in obtaining restraining orders where needed.
